You sir, have the idea of the day. Maybe we should ask the President. I mean after all it would reduce Co2 omissions too :D

I've got an idea, if the 748 is really more efficient then the 744 then lets do a 1 for 2 swap. One 744 for 2 748s. And I'm not even one that really wants to fly them as I like domestic flying, I just like looking at them and the notion of them being around. |

ACL,
SOOOO. It has been almost a month since the predictions of a plan/purchase, etc. Do you think your leak played you or should we expect some form of announcement soon? In other news, I heard that there were going to be several management positions eliminated..... |

That is a good idea, especially if they go through the same process and completely make the RJ unusable again like they do with the car.

While the info may or may not be true, the use of a numerical (in this case date) discriminator is an easy way to identify the source of a leak.
I heard that there were going to be several management positions eliminated. And as you say they do this a lot to see where the leaks are. Never believe a date, just a concept. DAL moves dates all of the time. |
You got it. Next time I go thru the DTW terminal, I'll break out the iphone and take some shots. (not really) :)

Exactly. There have been many dates given. Fact is that DAL will announce when they have all of their ducks in a row.

Your economic argument has been fought over, discussed, checked, verified and more by many experts at both DALPA and the company in both LOA 46 and the chapter 11 contract. They were rehashed again in joint contract.
The last line in this statement right here is exactly why there is distrust on what comes from the MEC. It was specifically stated to my face that the last numbers that were run were back in BK era. And now you add that tidbit? Which is it? Proof? |

You think Tim will enjoy his return to line flying?
It is the reason all of us got in to this biz. There is something to be said, for flying from point A to B and then going to the hotel for a nice dinner, a jog and a nice long nap. I have found this to be a lot more enjoyable than a few other things. ;) |
