Well that would surprise me since OH is an ALPA carrier. The only reason they would do that is because OH is a short timer.

Comair a short timer?

I've moved up 950 numbers in 6 years and I'm still only 110 from the bottom.

Comair going away is a sure thing.

Alfa, here is one solution. Have it written in the contract that no new DCI contracts can be written and all the current ones would be allowed to expire. Also have it written that every new a/c that is added must be flown by Delta pilots and F/As.

That would stop the bleeding and prevent any future DCI growth at our expense.

OK folks......ain't gonna work. What are we willing to give up? The management doesn't want us to fly the DCI. Why? cuz if they can get $1 and not have to spend $1 it's worth it to them. We are overhead to them. DCI is the new B-Scale. It took a strike to get rid of the B-Scale and in exchange we got the RJ-85s at NWA.

Navtech PBS Desktop Application

Change of direction here for a second:

Gentlemen and Ladies: If you are using the Navtech PBS Desktop Application to input your bids for this month I would strongly suggest that you look at what is actually on the PBS website via the DeltaNet. I have submitted several lengthy bids only to find out that about half of the data (bids) are making onto the server. I'm not sure if I am an isolated case with the desktop application or not but, I'm just throwing it out there.

Notified both PBS ALPA committee and Fred Terrell the PBS Administrator

Why do we have to "give" anything up? That mentality is what has us in the position we're in, mgmt wants us to believe we have to "Give" stuff up to gain anything. How about we start working as a unified pilot group and GIVE Nothing up? Hasnt the pilot group "Given" up enough already?

I know you guys are taking a beating over there and I wouldn't be willing to guess one way or the other about Comair's future, but your scenario is not exclusive to the regionals.

There are plenty of us on this side that moved up some 3,500 numbers in our first 6-7 years only to remain in the bottom 0-10%. We also got to spend up to 5+ years on the street. Partly due to a down economy. Largly due to outsourcing of our flying to RJ's.

I know, I know...our scope allowed it. Most of us hardest hit had no vote in the matter. Bankruptcy played its part as well.

Just sayin....

Your 5 years on the street was largely due to a change in pilot work rules at Delta not RJ's. Total pilot block hours with the shift to international were the same in June of 09 as the time frame prior to LOA 46.

Although Navtech PBS Desktop App is a start in the right direction, I am still using EasyBid. It's just too easy to use and the visual presentation provides a lot of SA.
