Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

Vacation bidding strategies:

I'm guessing someone has a formula that works. I have failed vacation bidding every year. This past year, just because of the new vacation swap system, I got most of what I wanted. I'm sure vaction slide makes it even better.

What strategy does the best for you?

desired times for me are (not in order) spring break, 1 week in every summer month, thanksgiving, Christmas.

Dont FTB

4 day GS M88B given out today! Plenty of coverage tomorrow so why not break it up into 2 two day trips to save the company $$? I'm all for maximizing my pay check, just seems odd they would do this when it could be covered with reserves tomorrow.

CQ question. I keep getting alerts about CQ in my early month (FEB), however nothing in icrew, PBS or the FEB CQ awards on the crew planning page. Don't they have to have it scheduled by the 4th so I can bid around it? Thanks

My grandfather (EA guy) was cleaning out the closet and gave me some of his stuff.

I have come into a few stickers for some modern aircraft which I do not fly. When I get home ill post pictures but figured some of you may be interested. Here are some file photos of what I have..I believe one of each. Nearly certain these are them (the first one I am sure of). Anyone interested?
