Oh, and although I'm only wannabe Delta (WD), no conversation about classic rock can exist without beginning and ending with Pink Floyd.
Comfortably Numb is the greatest classic rock song of all time. QED Personally my fav is High Hopes.... |

I'd have to agree with you Buzz. As far as the newer stuff goes, my wife tells me I'm stuck in the 70's and 80's. Maybe I am but there's a ton of great music from back then. (My kids listen to a lot of it) I'd add the 60'S and probably the 50's although the early and middle 50's are before my time...:) Denny |

If you mean Led Zeppelin, I did a few pages ago with "Black Dog" and "Immigrant Song" to name just a couple.

That UCAL thread is getting ugly! Wonder why wall street does not look at the conflicts and inefficiencies looming for that carrier! Losing money now and still have not paid out huge pay raises looming! Hope for the best I guess!

Short call question... I am assigned my 5th short call of the month for tomorrow. The next person on the list (3 seniority #s senior to me) has only had 2. We are in the same days available group. Shouldn't they get short call before me? Or am I getting the "descretion of the scheduler" butt pounding I get every month?

How on earth did we leave out Floyd? The perfect rock band. Had 3rd row center floor seats for Roger Waters doing the Wall last year. I keep trying to get my wife to go to Australian Pink Floyd who does an excellent job of copycatting. The problem is she's seen Floyd twice and refuses to lower herself to a cover band.
