How do the flows work WRT that? Are they iron clad entitlements? Say DL wanted to "hire" 100 pilots and ran 2 classes of 50 over 2 months and 100+ furlough bypass pilots wanted to come back, would that "trigger" the mandatory flow throughs "per class"?
So would DL then be forced to take 20 CPZ + 9 Mesaba + X Pinnacle pilots in addition? IOW, would DL be forced to take 150ish? Or reduce the furlough bypasses offered recall? Or could the +100 furlough bypassers coming back demand additonal classes? If so, would that trigger more mandatory flows? I can't see DL being happy about that. If its even the slightest possibility, I'd expect them to put off hiring til the bitter end when it spools up permantly and that potentially volitile issue resolved itself. Way above my paygrade. My guess is DAL is far less concerned about the flows than you. Maybe ACL or someone with better info than me will weigh in. BTW, I know your question wasn't for me specifically, but more to get folks to think about the process. |

Cal is an awesome gentleman and aviator. Fair winds and following seas to one of DAL's absolute best.
