From DALPA web board: deal with Airbus for 30 A321 NEO's is almost a done deal. You'd think that I would have learned my lesson about rumors by now.

That's kind of like "she's almost pregnant."

Um yeah.... I guess block hour ratios are above your comprehension.

Just so we all remember: Block hour ratios won't even be measured for the first time until January 2014. If ratios aren't in compliance, company has until July 2014 to show us their plan as to how they'll get into compliance.

So we'll get them right after we MD a bunch more A320 FO's on this next AE and send them through MD88/717 school?

Think about it. If we do buy some NEOs, delivery will be down the road. Plenty of time to adjust and train. If its true, I like it. I'd rather have big metal though. Any metal is better than JVs or code share.

Hey does a buddy pass have to ride on Delta metal? Can they go on Aeromexico?

Wait, if we were about to acquire A321s in a fly off between Boeing and Airbus, then would the union know it? I think so.

So wouldn't they get in trouble publishing it in the Roar 44?

Yes lots of lingering hugs and showing of the goods. All those times when you were hanging on each other walking back from the bars!!

I've got one. Carl drops a rare if ever Carl rumor about the 744 rumor on us. sailing doesn't it think its a good idea especially since the Whale is cool and its better than waiting for 77Ws that could be a ways off.

but what about the Dalpa guys, no condemnation of Carl's rumor?

Now we know that Airbus and Boeing were bidding for some Delta business and it was supposed to include taking more CRJs off our hands. We also know Boeing is struggling selling 748s but the 77W is going gangbusters.

What if the deal is Boeing will get some 748 orders from some 744 operators, we will take the 744s off their hands, win for Boeing, and in doing so we have the freedom to do a small Airbus order with CRJ take back. so everybody gets something and doors stay open.

Feel free to agree with my mental gymnastics or I'll post that picture of 80 again.

Geez everybodys "paying" to get rid of those CRJs except the company.

Boy are we a buncha sukkas.

I agree with your mental gymnastics. Please no more 80 pics.
