Not to worry, Delta is sending more flying to Expressjet to pick up the slack. Your contract is about to pay off for the RJ side...always thought this would be a good deal for the RJ.;). Looking better by the month. Thanks again for voting YES on your contract..:D
"Le Douche"" You my want to thank your parents for sending you to the best schools! Basic math, less RJ's, Less RJ pilots, less DL passengers in RJ aircraft! 50 seats or 76 seats, it is an RJ and we have less RJ seats per main line passenger. Not finished yet! Taking back the the flying one step at a time! |

I've got one. Carl drops a rare if ever Carl rumor about the 744 rumor on us. sailing doesn't it think its a good idea especially since the Whale is cool and its better than waiting for 77Ws that could be a ways off.
but what about the Dalpa guys, no condemnation of Carl's rumor? Now we know that Airbus and Boeing were bidding for some Delta business and it was supposed to include taking more CRJs off our hands. We also know Boeing is struggling selling 748s but the 77W is going gangbusters. What if the deal is Boeing will get some 748 orders from some 744 operators, we will take the 744s off their hands, win for Boeing, and in doing so we have the freedom to do a small Airbus order with CRJ take back. so everybody gets something and doors stay open. Feel free to agree with my mental gymnastics or I'll post that picture of 80 again. They are Cathay though and have the obligatory Rollers under the wing... Cheers George |

Hmm, you mean like Cathay canceling their 777F orders and getting 3 747-8 in trade for some of their old 744s?
They are Cathay though and have the obligatory Rollers under the wing... Cheers George The catch? They are 747-400 BCF'S. I cannot see Delta wanting anything to do with 11 used freighters http://mobile.bloomberg.com/news/201...8-aircaft.html |

The lanyard is interesting, because it sends the message, but deprives the guy of actually saying "Academy" in one of the first two sentences when he meets you.
Look for other buzzwords/key phrases during the initial contact: "I do everything by the book" (he won't), "...your flying background?" (won't be good enough), a military rank (yours must be lower, or he'll have to justify his), "...a lot of experience..." (ruining lives) "A lot of guys..." (are taller than him), Any combinations of words that takes more than about 2 minutes to deliver, Any speech ending in "...but let's have a lot of fun on this trip" (trying to convince himself; while you're already plotting your sick call), "I'm going to let you..." (fight the urge to strangle him, constantly), "I'd like to think that I..." (trying to convince you), "Because I'm a nice guy..." (fully yielding to delusion), "...called out sick on me, which is weird because I'm a great guy to fly with!" (delusional AND insecure). One point each, three points total to make a complete tool. |

Your welcome. 50 seaters continue to be parked. The B717s are on the way to shift flying back to mainline. And Skywest Inc has a contractual rate reset coming in 2015, requiring them to be the second cheapest DCI operator. It's all coming together. :)
But you can't thank me. I voted NO. I guess I just can't figure you out. ;) |
