"By September 2013, Delta will open a new 8,000 square-foot bus holdroom facility adjacent to gate B20..."
  • Yes T2 remains [for now]
  • No connector will be built
  • Yes we will run busses from T2 to T4, that's the plan.

Id say the final Phase--if we even get to it--will be adding gates on to the T4 A Concourse as depicted in the rendering, then we might vacate T2...

Doesn't show two recessions: Jul 2000 - Mar 2001 and Mar to Nov of 2001.

The last thing we need is 12K Pilots all trying to fly 80+ hours each month.
It cracks me up seeing guys who are junior in category complaining that they don't like the current GS system and want 1.5X over 80 hours.

Be careful what you ask for - if you think stagnation is bad now lets incentivise maximum flying even more.

And just remember every time that an Inverse assignment goes out - the junior guy could have gotten a Greenslip.

Scoop

Not necessarily; more likely the junior guys couldn't grab it because the flying is on a weekend or holiday and they're already flying or over 7 & 30. At least in my category. :(

I don't believe the AA or US pilots will get full retro for the many years they've spent negotiating. You may be assuming too much if you think that somehow we would have completed section 6 any faster than the other guys and received full retro for years of flat wages, when others have not.

The TVM means different things for different folks. If you leave $100k in the company's pockets while you negotiate, then get maybe half of that back in the form of a signing bonus, like the UCAL pilots did, then you're already starting in the hole at the DOS in just cash, we haven't even started to add in lost earnings on the cash left in the company's pockets.

I have never seen a contract with full retro or anything even close. UAL/CAL probably got the highest real percentage and its way less then half of what they were due.. Typically what you see is something like our 91 contract. They apply a 2 percent raise back to the amendable date and then a larger raise at the signing date. This is called full retro but of course is not.

If they extend A like the picture shows, the trip from the end of A to the end of B is going to be a death march. For anyone that remembers the old DTW terminal, it'll be almost as bad as the old F10 to C69 aircraft change.
