Just spent the day trying to Call Flightline (Sabre) as well as sign up for Pro-Diem. Pro-Diem is by far better! 2-3 day turn around and has a Widget for your computer to download all their data for them, with intuitive walk through to get data without data security issues.

$59 for Expense Report vs Flightlines $50

FINALLY got through to Flightline, after holding two times and giving up. Receptionist was sick, and but helpful. I told her about Pro-Diem and she said, WE KNOW ABOUT PRO-DIEM!

She said they had trouble loading Per Diem into their templates and verifying the info before proceeding. They started Feb 15th or so? Why so late?

Anyhow, there is the story for anybody interested.

Electronic Logbook?

Next question, anybody have an Electronic Logbook which gets downloaded data from Delta Computer automatically??

Flightline Widget works has a Logbook which will export a very simple Comma file for only one month at a time which can be opened in Excel. Then I supposed you just copy and paste into a Logbook Spreadsheet... But really?

Any Geeks out there with an easier method?

Anybody actually track their flight time anymore?? Lol

They had problems last year too. I did not receive my report until March last year.

My bad. I'll tone down the "World Coming to an End" rhetoric, a little! :) Believe it or not, that was before I had my coffee for the morning too! Maybe that's the reason why?

Thanks for the intel. I'll be down there next weekend, which by that time, they'll probably already have been sold.

Cabela's, where I purchased my AR had four on hand when I called, and an hour later when I purchased mine they only had two left. They had 30-round mags too, but were super cheap for a ridiculous price. (Plastic/composite 30-round mag for $30!!)

Been shopping for a Magpul AR for sometime, cheapest I've been able to come by was $1400-1500. The 7.62 for $1800 doesn't sound too unreasonable considering the smaller caliber is running $300 behind it.

Thanks again, fly safe.

7.62/.308 makes for heavy expensive to shoot gun that is not near as accurate in that caliber as many of the excellent bolt action tactical rifles available. I'd ask what it's purpose is for other than just having one? In that caliber it is no longer a practical carbine which is the AR's strong point and other designs should be considered IMO.

Just looking for a little larger round, with more stopping power, for big game other than the .223. I use a .30-06 now for deer season, and would use it for elk/moose too, if I were ever luck enough to draw a tag. Just bought my fiancee a .243 (100gr round is enough for her) to come hunting with me next fall, and was looking for a 30-caliber round in the AR too.

That's all, thanks. :)

To give a decoration that is "above" others that can only be earned while directly under the threat of bodily harm/death...I don't know if due diligence was done before they pulled the trigger on this one...

That was my point exactly... The DWM is also higher status than a bronze star... amazing. I once served with someone that had earned a bronze star, and to hear him tell the story on how he earned it, was humbling...

I am certain PTSD exists for these warriors too, but not sure they deserve a medal that is awarded higher than for front line combat personnel.

I get my yearly total from I-crew on Dec 31st and put in one line for the entire year. Don't know why I even do that. I knew my flight time when I got hired at Delta and I can see my total hours since working at Delta. If I ever get furloughed, I won't be flying so I really don't care to have it all in perfect order like I did before getting hired.
