You have shown some of the parked DC-9's. Is that all of the ones that have been "sold for scrap?" :D
I am looking, if Sailing tells me where his pictures are I will post them. I am looking though my VCV file from when I have been out there. I know I saw a few with the wings off. |

They do like to park them don't they...

I didn't study alloys in college though, per se. |
If you heat it up enough you can change its property while in the liquid form. ;)
Just think liquid RJ's. What a nice thought. Now back to some office work..... |

I'm just messin' with ya. I am just attacking the implication that EVERY DC-9 that has been parked has been "sold for scraps." You would have to post a lot of pictures to refute that. (And it would be kind of sad if you were able to.) :) |
Did anyone participate in the Glen H. employee online chat about LGA and other issues?

Delta, Atlanta deal to lead to big bond: report
(Reuters) - U.S. carrier Delta Air Lines Inc <DAL.N> and the Atlanta airport are close to a lease agreement that would pave the way for an $800 million bond sale, the biggest such offering in the U.S. this year, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the talks. The world's busiest airport will use the proceeds to pay for a new international terminal, the news agency said. It said the airport is in talks with Atlanta-based Delta and other airlines as their leases expire after 30 years. A lease accord may come this month, clearing a path for the bonds, the news agency quoted the people as saying. Delta, the airport's largest tenant, linked the lease negotiations and the debt sale by threatening to move some flights unless the city cut the terminal's price, according to the news agency. The Atlanta airport and Delta did not immediately respond to calls seeking comment. |
