You can keep your Jepps in any order you want. There is no regulation except that you have the required pubs and they are up to date.

I agree with the idea of getting paid when the Capt is responsible for the flight. Also, does perdiem start at sign in? When does that clock start?

How is JFK running tonight by the way with the weather, a DAL 767 striking birds and doing an RTO complete with tire loss, a lost RV7 circling over the city and airport completely lost and some celebrity arriving (thank you google news for pulling up anything that mentions JFK), etc.?

Will this be all DCI carriers or those with contracts?

Just a few. SKW, and ASA are some of them. I would not want to be at OH right now. I will put it that way.

No the miles integration is not what I was talking about.

Comair is an entry level position toward flying for the big boys. I flew heavies internationally for 20 years to get to DAL. RJ guys are big on "career expectations." Let me tell you what mine are (were). It ain't to fly little jets from CVG to CLE or whatever little bum-******* place you guys go.

Aviation is a legacy career. You can't skip to the top. When you and your company **** on those in more senior positions, you risk being put smartly back in your place.

Really....how can pilots of little airplanes like this :

think they are equal to those who fly the big airplanes....I can't believe it...

Can someone help me find the reason as to why this thread is so long? Just curious. It may have been asked already or my answer may be somewhere in one of these pages but it's too many to read in one week. Thanks in advance.

It is what it is. Which, in this case is like a meeting place for us to exchange rumors, ideas, and experiences. What probably helps it along is that now DAL is 12,400 pilots strong, just went thru a fairly civil merger, seniority list integration, procedures, and a healthy curiosity of what the flying was like on the "other side."

Join us. :D

3 hour delays? Sweet. In a few months, any passenger with a watch and a fa call button will be able to order your plane back to the gate in this scenario.

I wonder if the airline will be responsible for hotel rooms for the other 200 passengers on board, or if they can pawn it off on Uncle Sam's Fantastical EDCT Program?

Good times.
