Exactly! Moak knows we talk about him on these boards. Heck, he probably reads it regularly, but NEVER answers or addresses these questions. There are things he can discuss. Everything related to Scope/Scope Restoration is not covered by NDA's. We continually CLUCK because Moak NEVER answers. I think it's time to find someone who will.

Just to manage some expectations here. Just because you want to send him to pasture does not mean it will happen.
Fact is that even if you filled LEC 44 and 20 with votes to make this happen, the last election cycle gave him the position by communion. Six to eight votes would not get it done and would only divide the MEC, not a wise decision coming in to a contract cycle.
It is a lot harder to get unanimous votes when some disagree, to get these votes means that deals would need to be made. That is when slow progress starts.

September's Bids are already in DBMS, they were almost completly done with the Wide report last night. Impressive speed this month.
Now back to the Scope/ALPA/Moak.... banter. I do enjoy this forum.

I think that Lee knows this and that there is not enough time for the people that cannot stand him to muster the support or traction to get this done. I stated this a year ago, and the fact is that it looks the the agenda is proceeding as planned.

Lets hope it is like this when all fleets get past BP5.

I can't think of a single incumbent I'm excited about voting for. After all, they had a chance to vote with their members and instead chose to vote with the recommendation of a Committee, a committee who had not received input from the membership.
The way I see it, they don't want to represent me anyway, so I'll grant them their wish and encourage others to do the same. Any time they choose to communicate and justify their actions they'll nullify any small influence I have, so, all they have to do is their jobs, right?

I know that if we sell scope, offer a one way flow to the EV and OH pilots, allow IGW on the Rjet 175's or anything else that is under the radar, it will deeply trouble me.
If EV and OH want the flow, they need to give something to. Fact is that the flow is a half move, we need a full move.
Slow, I would like to know what step two is after we get this bi-lateral flow done. Great so now DAL gets all the guys with great attitudes they rejected and has no control over the incoming pilot product! At least we should be able to get all of that flying back then.
I mean my God, these flight decks work for a reason, I cannot see DAL giving up the ability to control what comes in its door. What I see is this as a way to get the DCI pilots rallied behind LM and give him support all the while this deal will have its wheels fall off at the wedding chapel door.
When they realize it, he will be in Pratter's job and they will be holding the bag. I say slick move.

No not at all. I just do not see there being the support to oust the MEC Chair in the mid term. That is all.
Communion being the fact that it was a unanimous vote. He has the support at least at face value of all of the LEC's NWA's included.
Even if I went in there with the agenda to oust him, it would at best cause me or whomever started it to be absolutely useless to the people that elected him. In effect that person would be managed.

I've put up with the moniker for a while, but I'm calling them on it from now on. It is intended to be an insult and it is insulting. It is more insulting that our MEC's mouthpiece, or at least some one self described as "very close" responds to legitimate concerns with labels designed to belittle fellow members. Lets take the fight somewhere more substantial than name calling, like a real debate of facts.
