Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

Well there have certainly been more entertaining days here. You guys must be bored.
We need that AD bid out so we can stop the sd said this he scammed us / im optimistic / mgt phrasing can be variably interpreted depending onmy stance fest.

At what point does DALPA figure into this equation johnso? You know, the DALPA that you so vigorously defended all through the run up to the TA vote? When you say "blaming ourselves", what do you mean by ourselves? As someone who repeatedly reminded us that WE are DALPA, what was their (our) role? Why were the road shows replete with SD's comments about hiring IF we voted in the TA? Is there any appreciable difference between our union leadership and management?

This is the heart of the problem because it presupposes that there's a difference between the MEC and management. The evidence shows me that there's almost no difference. Management's sales job was nowhere near as passionate as the MEC's sales job. If Delta pilots are good with that, then we'll see a continuation of this experiment in the new unionism. I just want to be sure that we all know where we stand.
