You are so funny
You are so nice

I said that twice.
That's so romantic!

I just don't think 80 (or anyone) deserves to be lectured by the likes of slowplay. And for slowplay to basically out a guy's anonymity is a foul. There must have been what, less than 10 guys hired at 80's age they year 80 was hired?

Look. 80 is a leader. He adds value to the dialogue and raises everyone's game. He certainly doesn't need (or probably want) my endorsement, but I'm in his corner. Has he been flying for 35 years? Apparently not. While some would see that as a negative, I don't. We need fresh perspectives, not a stale "because that's the way we've always done it" approach.

slowplay is just a hatchet man. He has no creativity, and merely propagates others' ideas in return for a cushy gig with minimal work and maximum graft. He wins when he's dragged others down to his level in the gutter. Regrettably, I allowed myself to be suckered in, and for that, I apologize.

And all of this is the reason that none of what you do here makes any difference to ALPA -

ALPA conducts business in the actual commercial marketplace, not the elementary school playground.

Well my Dad - no your Dad - no I've done, no I've seen, no he can't talk to me like that, no he can't have that cushy job.

Actually it has, considering several people here have been elected reps. There is certainly some influence that comes from the exchange and discussion of ideas, and those that took that outside of the intertoobz world have made a difference. I actively participate outside of forum world, some don't.

How's the MIL leave count? Still right around 200?
