Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
You Mad Dog guys have been holding out. This BNA layover is nice.
I did, however, lower the field elevation by a foot or so earlier today on 20L.
As for USAA, I'm done. They've changed their entire business plan. I'm no longer a satisfied customer. They used to be the best on the biz.

I haven't had any crazy claims with USAA- been with them all my life, but the credit card is fine and home/auto insurance so far is no issue. Of course.... no claims either (knock on wood). They have to love someone like me. We'll see when an issue does eventually pop up.
That's kinda what I did. I broke my cardinal rule for the 73N. Don't start pulling the power until you're in the flare. I was a little higher then that. Oopps. I'm sure the -900 will be even less forgiving. The tail clearance on that beyatch is minimal. When landing the -800, and I'm sure the -900, you gotta have power on.

I've done my part on that runway as well. It's hilarious when you cut fifi off mid "retard." "Oh, we're already there, Gaston."

The 900 I bet will be like the 88 and 763 domestic where you almost add power in the flare, then ease it out for where you want to touch down.

Been there, done that. I would always pull it to idle as I was starting the flare if it was a positive energy trend. Negative.. hang on!

The Broadway pub is one of the best. Nice in the summer when the walls are opened to the outside. Great food and choices of malted beverages.
Great for sightseeing too!

There's a good BBQ place around the corner on that main drag, price isn't too bad at all. Nice place to jog and walk but I promise you it's uphill every way you go. The Ryman is pretty cool, I walked past there one time when Carrie Underwood was going to perform. I got invited in, I guess they like guys with $14 bright white shoes from Costco. I got to hang out with her in her dressing room and just shoot the... oh wait, that's the A320 BNA overnight. What am I talking about.

20L is a mean runway. It's broken many a heart partly because it's not as long as it looks and then the hill makes you think "oh crap, I'm running out of runway" when you're not.
You guys have me nervous about USAA now.
