I did, however, lower the field elevation by a foot or so earlier today on 20L.

As for USAA, I'm done. They've changed their entire business plan. I'm no longer a satisfied customer. They used to be the best on the biz.

The Broadway pub is one of the best. Nice in the summer when the walls are opened to the outside. Great food and choices of malted beverages.

Great for sightseeing too!

you must have done the Airbus BNA overnight not the MD88 airport BNA overnight. :D There's a good BBQ place around the corner on that main drag, price isn't too bad at all. Nice place to jog and walk but I promise you it's uphill every way you go.

The Ryman is pretty cool, I walked past there one time when Carrie Underwood was going to perform. I got invited in, I guess they like guys with $14 bright white shoes from Costco. I got to hang out with her in her dressing room and just shoot the... oh wait, that's the A320 BNA overnight. What am I talking about. :D

20L is a mean runway. It's broken many a heart partly because it's not as long as it looks and then the hill makes you think "oh crap, I'm running out of runway" when you're not.

You guys have me nervous about USAA now.

The 900 I bet will be like the 88 and 763 domestic where you almost add power in the flare, then ease it out for where you want to touch down.

I've landed most the planes on this page pulling thrust to idle at 20-25'. Goal is to touchdown at ref to ref-5 in most transport category planes. Adding power in the flare or landing with power completely invalidates your landing data and usually results in the flare, tail comes up, re-flare, but we have too much energy, sink, flare, bang!!

I'll give you guys feedback on the USAA mortgage thing. If they start slow rolling me, I'll drop them in a heartbeat and go with a sound alternative.

BNA ... the only place I've ever went to inspect an airplane, only to open the hangar door and be met by a very attractive, very nude woman, with her arms crossed, a cold beer wedged in between her pleasantly ample bosoms with the cap just removed... Overnights in corporate aviation ....

Now is that so much to ask for?

I flew a corporate jet. I flew to BNA in it a bunch.

All I ever got was a plane that wasn't ready over at the maintenance hanger or a long walk at the Stevens FBO to the plane and a $1,000 handling fee.

Evidently, I just suck.

You are bringing up a bad memory. Previous corporate crew had run the landing lights on the ground in still air for a prolonged period. It's amazing what that does to glass. Just $15K fix. Thanks.

Not to mention, I missed an awesome trip trade this morning for my 3-day tomorrow by oh, I don't know, 4,000 numbers.

I'm thinking some WS's didn't fill up.
