JFK lounge is pretty sweet, they did a great job. BUT, whoever ordered the black recliners: Epic FAIL! They are hard as a rock, don't recline all they way and the leg rest is so short that more than a few minutes trying to lay down in them and your feet fall asleep. The Sleeping room lights are automatic and don't turn off. It's as if they Don't want us to get rest in there. I see some speed tape appearing soon for the sensor.
Rest of the lounge: Superb! |
You Mad Dog guys have been holding out. This BNA layover is nice.
I did, however, lower the field elevation by a foot or so earlier today on 20L. As for USAA, I'm done. They've changed their entire business plan. I'm no longer a satisfied customer. They used to be the best on the biz. |

Of course.... no claims either (knock on wood). They have to love someone like me. We'll see when an issue does eventually pop up. |

I've done my part on that runway as well. It's hilarious when you cut fifi off mid "retard." "Oh, we're already there, Gaston."

That's kinda what I did. I broke my cardinal rule for the 73N. Don't start pulling the power until you're in the flare. I was a little higher then that. Oopps. I'm sure the -900 will be even less forgiving. The tail clearance on that beyatch is minimal. When landing the -800, and I'm sure the -900, you gotta have power on.
The 900 I bet will be like the 88 and 763 domestic where you almost add power in the flare, then ease it out for where you want to touch down. |

Regardless, any jets would be replacement jets, so it's hardly worth getting excited.

Been there, done that. I would always pull it to idle as I was starting the flare if it was a positive energy trend. Negative.. hang on!

Thats not how you do it on the shorter CRJs, so why would the 900 be like that?
