I had one but sold it after getting tired of getting hit on by gay guys.

Yeah, that was a fun "tap tap tap" dance, but the worst part was the noise those Garrets made, if you were unlucky enough to be outside when it was running!

Everywhere you go you get the Garrett salute (hands over the ears). Surprising enough though, they were louder in front of the engine than anywhere else. But, a 10,000 lb airplane with 2000 hp was always nice. Up until now (lr60), i have never flown a plane that wasn't that much over powered. It was fun. But whenever they broke good luck finding parts!

I agree Bar. As a proud member of the former Harley owners club and a guy that's been riding bikes my whole life. Fond memories, picked up a brand new heritage soft tail classic put 5 k miles on it and sold it for more than I paid ...the day I bought it and the day I sold it were happy days.

740 lbs of underpowered uncomfortable art. Harley riders do their low cool wave to each other for the same reason that no one will ever tell you that a Disney vacation sucks... They both got duped.

Got an fj1300 great great bike then a Valkyrie interstate another great bike. A Beamer is in my future.

Oh? Do tell. With the drawdown of the 757s... a significant number of them... please define "growth"

If'n you have a little down time today, go check out "Ghosts of History" Facebook page or google it. It is an amazing site that was started by a guy that ran across some old WWII negatives at a flea market. He took them and overlaid them with the present location view....fascinating... enjoy

Scambo,

In stock form I tend to agree with you, but with some modifications to the engine, an upgrade to a six-speed transmission (and a bunch of other stuff) I absolutely love my H-D. It's not a screamer, but for me "It's the journey, not the destination".

I have zero desire to get a different motorcycle...
