At the time, 2008(?) the TRAINING was different, i.e. what was in the program, or so I was told.

When I went from 767 Domestic to ER, it was a full, 3 day long ground school with real teachers, then several sims. But that was in 2005. I think by 2008 it was down to a CD and one sim? Our new, bankruptcy inspired, "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" training program.

In 2008, if you were going to the ER, you did the full domestic 767 course, and then there were 2 (or 3?) oceanic sims tacked on after your 767 LOE.

After that, you did a full 767 domestic OE followed by TOE.

Did Bar get 88 captain?

If you want to enjoy even finer quality of layovers including Canton and Flint, come join us on the A320 for some fine MLI, BMI, FAY, and CRW action as well. :)

How does one nominate a movie for an Academy Award?

Although a Mandatory Displacement would have been perfect.

Dammit! The 747 has stopped going to LAX so I got no shot at the prize. I'd do it while wearing FTB's tshirt with that quote if I had one.

Not true. I believe there was at least one who got 7ER out of training in DTW from the 2010 group. Later displaced.

Well, if that event ever really happened, (the near divert) I guess someone forgot to tell them the 'Insufficient Fuel' message is pretty standard when you start playing with the winds in the box.

And Hitler belongs in a Mad Dog!

They were made for each other! :D

I stand corrected, and further proving the "no newhires to the ER as per the FAA" wrong.

Thanks. :)
