Scoop, 80K, Buzz and Carl, thanks for your support! I'll be buying you all beer and taking you all sailing. We're going to need a bigger boat! :D

When I got home late last night, Opportunity was parked in my parking spot! I finally had to throw Opportunity and his posse out at midnight, along with their women...

(Opportunity bore a striking resemblance to my 20yr. old son and his Surf Bro's/chicks)

And for 370, Welcome to APC. I said it was a story I'd heard, not trying to throw any stones or start any rumors. It was not about getting lost, it was about an Insufficient Fuel FMS message, and how to deal with it.

For a fact check, I suggest you talk to the lead NYC ER LCA. I think there is at least one NYC 767 LCA who frequents APC, maybe he can confirm or deny.

In Europe they don't have to cover them up. :)

In my advancing world some things are better left covered, like for instance, a set of 36 longs........

That's it.
Very different from domestic.
I've seen them go to baggage claim when you don't make it out on the international flight.

BTW international used to be very predictable unlike domestic, not anymore.
I recently didn't make it on a ZRH ATL flight because 26 HKs showed up 2 hrs before departure...

Well, my 3 fairly senior buddies on the 7ER (94-96 hires) "say" they are staying put. They all do mostly international and pick up here and there to get them to 85ish per month (isn't that just a GREAT thing). They would all be well on reserve on any NB Captain for maybe 75 hours. After the commuting expense to reserve, increased taxes and yuk trips, they don't think it's worth the 1000 bucks or so.

Here's my question, thank you for playing:

Why are we giving the company a waiver on scope in NRT when the company has shown no plan on how to bring our share of the Transatlantic JV flying back up to 50%...

Up until now, we were told there is nothing we can do. Everything is in compliance and that we hold no cards when it comes to the flying share of the Transatlantic JV.

The scope improvement opportunity now is to tell the company no dice on the NRT waiver unless we see a comprehensive plan to bring the Delta transatlantic flying share up to 50% on a 3-year loockback.

Wouldn't we need more 7ER FOs if we were flying our 50% share of the Transatlantic JV flying?

Cheers

That's an excellent idea. A scope "opportunity" should have a scope "solution."
