Glad someone is coming out ahead...

Here I thought the third time is a charm for being awarded LAX in November...

Little did I know the third time being the charm actually refers to being displaced.
Im being MDd out of LAX for the third time in 4 years.

[LIVIN'] Woohoo, I guess I'll rejoin you on the eastward cross-country commute. [/LIVIN']

Cheers
George

I think it was T2 who thought this bid was pretty good for junior guys. I hate to see what a bad bid would be.

Looking at July schedules and open trips vs reserves available (esp. weekends) it seems there will be some real meltdowns by mid July. Lots of people going to training mid July. Even with the one day shorter July bid period it will be ugly.

AE posted today seems like a shuffling of Captains and very senior B's. A real blood bath for a lot of Bs. Looking forward to the AUG/SEP AE... hopefully about 100 717A positions in that one.

The silver lining is they will need to hire soon.

There are no large displacements. The last bid was it.
Sign this contract and we will hire in the 4th quarter of 2012.
We are not saying OK to more scope violations, it is an improvement opportunity.

Default Displaced parking?

It's been a few years since I was last displaced, is there a way to get parking at both domiciles (home and displaced)? I'm trying to plan my new exciting life as a commuter. Oh yeah, and <expletive deleted>.

Do I get a raise?

Won't be no rebid. Besides, with the new rules those will be turns anyway.

Nope. You get parking at 1 base only.

How do you propose to do that?

On another note, ATL 88b, only 30 guys were allowed min credit condition on PBS. It says because of Admin. Nothing like being forced to fly 90 hours (ALV+15)!

Yeah it would really suck to have to fly international when you are 35 or 40 years old.
