For those that weren't around pre-c2k, we had a contractual item 3B6 wherein, we had to agree on payrates before the aircraft could be operated. This gave us great leverage when negotiating 73N and 777 rates.

This section of the contract is gone now, but we didn't need it for the last contract...For the (hope of growth) used 717s, we signed a COLA contract. My, how things have changed.

Purple, You are a real jewel. Today one of our brother in arms lost a child and it made me realize what is important in my life, like family and friends. It also made me realize what is not important in my life, like very negative people. I watched a dual seat ejection today near Luke AFB... driving down road watching jets, suddenly pop pop, two good chutes with smooth landing/plf in farm field. F16, sounds like both ok. Looked like on dept from touch and gos. Think I was the first to call it in. Glad they seemed OK and news is reporting same.
