The seniority list just keeps on shrinking, I moved another 15 numbers up for July. 604 pilots have left the list since Sept 2010.

I thought we had added captains since C2012. ;)

Let me put on the headdress and get into Hatin' On Commuting Commuter mode.

One poster a few weeks ago got upset about people calling in sick and still posting here. He mentioned if you could post here, you weren't sick.

So keep that in mind and here is my ruling:
  • Man up. You're never too sick to fly an airplane. Period.
  • Can you still post here? Yes? You're not sick. Period. In fact, you're never too sick to fly.
  • The fact you got hit by a car is your own fault, you shouldn't have been going home anyways.
  • So in my final ruling on this hypothetical question, no sick leave for you. You thief.

Don't quote me but what I was told by one of the 717 LCA was that they'd look at the DC9 schedule and swap a 717 on the route randomly. So if a 9 was going to BNA today they could pull it and put on a 717. But I don't understand how that works if the DC9 seats more than the 717, that'd mean bumping passengers. But that was what they explained while sitting on the js the other day.

Also he mentioned doing OEs via that already acquired 717. Old school training in the plane!

Although I think this was a LCA that couldn't actually hold 717 A? I'm not sure I understood what was going on there.

Isn't the plane getting paint down in MIA now? I wonder when it will be done.

717's go into the schedule Oct 6th or 7th. Possible substitution flights before then. 1st 3 (maybe 4) planes show up in August. No hiccups reported.

I think we've had like 400 upgrades in the last few months and ordered like 220 airplanes or something. And we're making a larger profit than ever before and doing it quarter after quarter like we haven't seen in nearly a decade and a half. Plus more widebodies about to be ordered.

Booming. Feel it?

See, it's funny how changing one word to a word that rhymes with it makes a sentence so much more interesting.

It'll be done in time for me to walk out of the sim and go straight to OE. :D

Summer off? Screw that. Try an evening off! :D

Thieves are everywhere.
It starts with hotel soap. Before you know it they're drinking airplane coffee.

Nobody should need sick leave.
Getting sick is a choice just like commuting.

I could argue that drinking the coffee is helping to make a profit by reducing wear and tear on the lavatory waste system when it's dumped after landing.

I could make that argument, I really could.
