I don't know if that one had the Rolls Royce engines, but several years ago there were issues with the fuel/oil heat exchanger, forming ice balls, which resulted in the BA 777 landing short. They pushed the power up and nothing happened, due to the ice in the fuel line. They were all supposed to be fixed several years ago.

editing myself: Their entire fleet are 777-200ERs. They all have PW4090 engines.

Well,if 777 pilots can't figure out that the inboard is 28 LEFT, not 28R, there's your problem rights there.

LOC/GS was notamed OTS.

That was the 4 Torpedos talking and I was thinking about the set up in ATL.

I forgot SFO is....

Ass Backwards!:eek::D

Not that there's anything wrong with that!;)

Let's hope so too, but the language should have been better.

Well at least the voice recorder and FDR should be easy to find...wait, are they in the tail??:eek:

Yeah, the recorders are about 15' short of the dyke.......the one at the airport, not the one downtown. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

The ones in sfo are butch. The hot ones work in Van Nuys.

Hoser,

Actually, I find the ones at KBFI to be better, if less receptive...ha ha.

ALPA never gets the exact language they want....but neither does Delta. That's why its called negotiations.

Acquiring NWA was a huge mistake..... ANC gone, freighters gone, MEM gone, DC-9's gone, NRT going, FNWA 757's being parked, 320's being parked 747's next. Maybe we can find a way to get rid of you and your brethren since there's going to be nothing left of your beloved NWA.

You stay classy, Dalad.
