I hope this one is correct.

The NYC CP has publicly stated to an audience multiple times everything you have typed here except the overstaffed part.

Hey guys,

I'm doing a long layover tomorrow in DTW at the new hotel. Anybody got any recommendations for eats/drink?

You have got to be an absolute moron to put that on the air. I'm thinking the Daily Show is better news than some that think they are in the real news business.

Hilarious.

Just got home from vacation and reading a full inbox of DPA emails. Can someone explain to me if it's legal to have dues go up and down without a vote? I'm told it could take 12-18 months to have an election and that would put us into Section 6 unless we merge or get purchased by a ME carrier first. That would mean DPA dues are automatically increased to 2.25% without a vote and stay there until it's all done. We can't be assessed extra dues under ALPA unless we vote for it.

Is an automatic dues rate change legal under some kind of union labor law?

Especially in The Bay with a largely Asian community! I lived in NorCal back in the day. I can't imagine anyone being THAT stupid!

Seems pretty clear to me, but lots of people seem to think Delta is going to hire soon. Unfortunately, there is no documentation or announcements to support it.

I guess if we went to the res availability list and went category by category and counted how many are above min required and how many have a 0 showing then we would have an idea of what's under, over and correctly staffed. I'll do ATL Bs just to see.
