Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?
I'm sure you're right. Although I recently saw pictures of some of our old 767-200s with the cockpit mod and was told it's just waiting to be funded. Winglets are supposedly going on 75s again as well. The only round dials I saw left were the clocks. Be nice if they do it.
I flew with an LCA type about a year ago who's main job was project manager for the flat panel upgrades for the 88/90 and the 75/76. He was sure the 88/90 upgrade would happen, but only about 50/50 on the 75/76. He was also very confident that the 75's would retire at a much lower rate than DAL management was stating at the time.
<--Recipe for disaster. We need humble and down to earth dudes in that position. TEN
The more and more I fly with LCA types, the more I wonder if they are doing it to help the group, or to massage their egos? I flew with one that kept on telling everybody he was an LCA. He even had the audacity to tell me he is one of the best pilot's Delta has

It's the guys chomping at the bit, and campaigning to be LCAs that are always problematic.

Thanks, Timbo!
Go to the Delta Net Flight Ops page, click on your aircraft type, there should be all the info there you'll need, r.e. initial training, requal, recurrent, etc.
If you can't find what you need, find the Fleet Capt.'s phone number listed there, call him tomorrow, ask him to send you what you need. That's why they have an office job, to serve their fleet's pilots, so don't be shy, they can answer all your questions.
