Non rev question for you guys. Have active SkyWest employees always had non rev priority over a DL S3B, DL employee's parents and DL retirees? Seems weird.

Is it a Skywest DCI flight? Then... yes. Skywest employees and parents have higher priority than mainline on their own metal.

No, it's a DL mainline flight which is why I thought it was strange.

When checking in for mainline or any other flight operated by a carrier other than SkyWest, SkyWest employees will select the S3 standby code at check-in and will automatically be listed as S3C. SkyWest parents and retirees will select the S3B at check-in and will automatically be listed as S4. |

Seriously? That is AWESOME news!
Our paychecks won't change one iota, and neither will it help us negotiate a better contract. |

"Awesome" news if you're an executive, I suppose, and in line for big bonuses.

That is not according to DeltaNet. Here is quote from priority boarding page regarding SkyWest employees/parents riding on DAL mainline flights:

Hey Timbo, I'm watching the Americas Cup stuff now. I had no freaking idea these new boats could do nearly 40 knots in winds that aren't even that strong. Still don't understand how such heavy boats nearly fly up out of the water like that. Crazy!
