The Company has informed us that due to last minute marketing changes and technical difficulties bid packages for the following categories will be delayed by one more day. They will be posted no later than 1800 EDT on the 6th of September:
Yet another example of the contract being blurred. "Marketing changes?" "Technical difficulties?" YGBSM. Not contractual excuses. Not our problem, don't want to hear about it. Or is the company pushing to test, to see if ALPA complains, ala the "good faith" sick leave clause in the contract?

Next time I forget to bid, I'm going to inform the company that, due to "technical difficulties," my bid will be two days late. How do you think that will work?

Not "Caro"? She sounds hot.

You're really reaching here. The bid packets were a one day late, and the bid window was extended one day. Not a big deal.

Thanks, Johnso. This will work (the threads).

Does you bidding two days late involve the delivery of a fleet being delayed and having to redo all the plans that have been in place for months?

.

Question: Is there a provision in the contract for the company to override the bid timeline for any reason.

Yes or no.
