Point well taken. I am, however, concerned that ALPA never seems to consider it "judicious" to make any point, under any circumstances.

Your point is well taken also. There are issues on which we are too accommodating.

AE Tomorrow from AL Flight Ops Comm

"Flight Ops plans to post the September AE on Friday, Sept. 6. This AE will open the DTW 717 Captain category as well as add additional ATL 717 First Officers. A handful of 73N vacancies will be posted to keep training progressing in anticipation of our 737-900 deliveries starting this year."

That was an interesting cheerleader shot from an NBC camera during the game.

I'd show it, but I'd get another infraction.

Apparently some 88 openings as well. Maybe 717A will start going more junior with no more summer to have off?

The poop is hitting the fan a bit harder with the 717 delays it seems. No rotations will be published for it in October, and it sounds like they are scrambling to figure out what to do. Even though delta.com still shows the 717 starting on the 19th, when you go and look at the seats available on travel net, it shows 12/138 capacity, which is the A320. Cross checking with iCrew, they have all been converted to 320 rotations. There are only 6 rotations available for the 717, day trips starting on the 26th and one 2 day. Nothing after the 29th.

It'll be interesting to see what they have to say when they finally speak about what's going on. I just got a text that the bid packs are delayed another 24 hours.

As far as 7ER displacements, we'll see what the last minute Ouiji board tells them tomorrow morning. Or do they take number magnets and throw them up against the wall and see what sticks right before putting it out? :)

I'm betting on the number magnets. Hopefully, none of them decide to stick tomorrow. :)

Worse was when vagabond soft deleted the L&G on April Fool's Day this year. I got at least 10 texts that morning, many pointing at me thinking I did it. The earth shook, underboobs were covered, Timbo finally did find his DB in that cheerleader's hoo-ha, Carl and slowplay became best friends, and newK got his dream to go back to DC-9 captain and to have the plane never retire.

johnso- thanks for trying to clean it up, then cleaning up the clean up. :)

No sir. The DC-9 finally beat me. My back is begging for me to be allowed to stay where I am. But, I wouldn't mind the airplane never retiring. The thing is a tank. ;)
