I still like

Tower "Go Around"
FO - "Flaps 15, Dump Fwd Ballast, Positive Rate, Gear Up ...."

The idea of a MD87 fire fighting AC is so bad, on so many levels. It's like, put out one fire, start three.

Yea they suck. Luckily my buddy is an optometrist and get glasses pretty cheap for the family. He, like most eye docs will not take Davis. They are only accepted at places like Wal-Mart etc. Those places are kinda the regionals of the optomatry world.

I just racked up an $1100 bill and was out of pocket $520. Was disappointed that more wasn't covered. Tons of Davis providers however so I was happy with the options, just not happy with the out of pocket $$$ I had to spend. Oh well.

We had friends that moved out there. Coming from Atlanta, they were a bit shocked when the Real Estate Agent stated rather bluntly, "you will like this neighborhood, it is racially pure."

Huh?

Here in the South, we didn't much like the yankees when they first arrived ... then we noticed our restaurants are greatly improved ..... Some were a little concerned about diversity ... now our church's choir rocks and has four Grammy winners in it.

You know ... having different people around the table really does make things better.

I had to watch this training video before I went up to Saint Paul to visit my Aunt, and my Uncle lives way up in Grand Rapids, MN.

When I told him I live on a lake in Florida, first thing he says to me is,

"Got any Walleye?"

You Bet! :D

Timbo,

That's hilarious!

Truly brilliant!

OOOOH, Good Stuff!

You guys don't know how good you have it compared to buying (good) beer in Utah. 3.2 is available in supermarkets but anything stronger must be bought at a state liquor store. It is literally sold by the bottle, and it's not uncommon at all to be over $2.00 a bottle (and I'm not talking something exotic) plus sales tax, of course.

It's outrageous!

Wasatch,
You or a mil buddy need to beer/wine shop at Hill AFB. I like the way they stamp all the beer as "full strength" or something to that effect to make sure none of that "strong" stuff leaks over into the general public around SLC. Everytime I visit my buddy in Park City, a couple of cases of real beer is in order.
Luv

At my former employer, just after Jon Krakauer released his book "Under the Banner of Heaven" (very good read BTW) you would find copies of his book in the trash all the time...... Now mind you, I have never once seen a Buzz book in the trash, in fact I still have my copy from the author himself....

Flew a Citation for a spell for a rancher based in Junction Utah. Had to stay at the ranch house. Rules were rules, but when the rest of the local hands and family members left, the rules changed and plenty of allowances were made for proper hydration in the dry climate. Had to quit because he did not want his pilots drinking coffee....That was it right there!!:D
