Not exactly...
You keep making things up if it makes you feel better. You might want to reread the TA presentation and Q&A's to get some facts as to when stuff was going away. And if Delta won't pass up a "great deal for used aircraft" why aren't the plan B airplanes here? |
B717 news
Flight Ops latest memo says B717 seat fixes are in and deliveries begin in early October. Service entry is planned for Nov 1.

Plan B was never going to happen- at least the way you say now. I read the TA presentations intensely, you know that.
Delta could ignore ownership or other contractual obligations for CRJ-200's.... B717's were coming anyway.... Plan B was never going to happen.... System capacity isn't something management is concerned about.... That's after "intense" study.:D |

Notice how the 50s are now being parked far ahead of the company's requirement to park them? |

Anyone know what positions were offered to recalls?

System capacity isn't something management is concerned about.... That's after "intense" study.:D yeah.. That always cracks me up. I have heard it multiple times how DL could get out of those contracts easily (remember Freedom, that was quick eh?), all the 717's were coming anyway (not that the contract guaranteed even one would come, "only if") but somehow we had leverage upon leverage so that the company would negotiate a TA 6 months early. Dont get me wrong, you can not say what would have happened, we didn't get everything I wanted in the TA, but some of the same folks on here who were clamoring to send it back and said "we will get more" are the same ones now telling me the 50 seater issue wasn't leverage. Just a little paradoxical in my humble opinion. Where was the leverage then 6 months before the amendable date? |
