What I've highlighted is not entirely correct. Under the previous contract, 255 76 seat aircraft were permitted. The fact that these 76 seaters would've required 70 seaters to be swapped out is irrelevant. 223 76 seat airplanes is always less then 255 76 seat airplanes.
How many now? 325. How many 76-seaters were you allowed to have with less than 767 jets? 153. How many mainline jets do we have now? Less than 767. How many 76-seaters have they ordered (firm and options)? 70 more. Is that more than 153? Again going back to the earlier point by EB, what's mainline? Anything larger than 50 seats. So how is keeping the 102 70-seaters irrelevant? |
Using iOS7 and GOGO?
To use GOGO for free with Deltanet or eBay connect to "gogoinflight" select "cancel" in upper right corner of the login screen select "use without internet" in lower middle pop-up menu voilá Cheers George |

This is about the 20th time consecutively that you've done this. Do you know the difference between "then" and "than"?

Is 255 a higher quantity then 223? |

Come fly the non Delta MD-90s with an APU inop. We took everyone off in ATL earlier in the summer. The aft air connection (DC-9 style) doesn't work well and the only thing that does is the air start cart but 3 of them weren't working.
It's not that abnormal to run the ground air and the APU and still not cool down. |

There seems to be a common misunderstanding: Misunderstanding: Express pilots got where they are at via outsourcing, and they appreciate the opportunity to become competitive for a mainline job. Kinda sorta like military pilots appreciate the training and experience they got serving our Country. Reality: Many express pilots lived in a near constant state of uncertainty due to whipsaw. Their experience taught them first hand the perils of alter ego replacement. They appreciate the quality of the operation as well as the representation they enjoy at the mainline carrier. They mostly want express gone, either by force of the market or force applied by their bargaining agent. There isn't a great deal of nostalgia for express jobs. The flying was fun, but as a career ... no thanks. Some of us true blue union types want to see something along the lines of what our old merger and fragmentation policy would have given us ... but most don't care .. they just want it gone. Just my opinion. |

Yes.
Yes. More large RJs, but less 76 seaters. Well now you're changing things. You originally stated that our current contract allows MORE 76 seaters then our previous contract. That is untrue. Our current contract DECREASED the allowed amount of 76 seaters. Is 255 a higher quantity then 223? |
Slowplay &/or George,
I've been noodling around the "what if we did nothing on Narita slot scope." Can you check my reasoning? Status quo is 175 seats per flight segment, up to 40% a month, and the Company would lose the ability to put code share passengers on our 5th freedom flights beyond Japan. Is that an accurate nutshell? The Company isn't otherwise prohibited from codeshare in Asia. Trying to ensure my baseline for improvement is accurate. |
