They will also get in bed with the US LCC's who are calling plays from the same book. We pull down capacity on routes that they barf right back into so they can stay in perma growth mode and tag team us at our own game. To any extent we talk a big game about global dominance and *gasp* growth, they will call our bluff and count on our MBA's to continue to gift them capacity wherever and whenever they want to grow as they see fit.

They will only barf 999 seats if you send one million dollars to the PAC. Back the PAC!

I only spent a year on it, and that was 21 years ago. Much like UPT in Del Rio, it was both the best, and worst, year of my life. I never worked harder, or slept less, and I still have this twitch when ever I see one!

I can barely ride on the MD88 jumpseat without having a panic attack! Once I almost screamed out, "We're all going to DIE" while watching them do the taxi check!
There were hands flying all over the cockpit, clickers clicking, buzzers buzzing, lights flashing...

I did manage to say, "You guys work wayyy too hard!" And the F/O just turns and looks at me with this, "What are talking about?" look on his face.

The 777 will make you lazy, fat and stupid real quick, and Son, that's no way to go through life! :D

I just put a notice under the Layover forum, but for you guys based in SEA, here's a place where you can rent small sailboats for the day, and get your kids into sailing too. A friend of mine runs it, ask for Caleb, tell him Timbo sent you, he said you'd get an Airline Discount!

Sail Sand Point

Have fun!

The irony is that the ride in the back is serene as those near straight pipes eject supersonic effluence and the autopilot nonsensically commands a mostly unresponsive flight control system. Momentum is smooth .....

Ahhh del rio by the sea. Mucho good memories from there. Hunting, waterskiing, climbing. Taught a lotttt of folks to fly there...If only my instrument crosscheck was as good now.

I'm married....what's sex?
