Thought with a small AE with no surpluses, it would be out quicker. What math are they re-running?

Does anyone know if the delay pushes future deliveries from Southwest behind schedule or does it just create a backlog with the initial airplanes and then a bunch come on line in a row in Dec/Jan and Feb? |

I went back and looked at Delta's reported net income since contract 2012 took effect:
Third Quarter 2012: $768 million Fourth Quarter 2012: 238 million First Quarter 2013: 85 million (Management comment "strongest March quarter in over a decade") Second Quarter 2013: 844 million Add it up and you're close to two BILLION dollars in net profit under contract 2012. And let's look at stock performance. July 2, 2012, the first day the market was open under Contract 2012, Delta closed at $11.12. Today it's over $23 a share...more than double, Delta has been added to the S&P 500 and supposedly we are on track for our best quarterly performance in Delta's history. I'd say an absolutely stellar performance by Delta management. Yes, 4, 8.5, 3, 3 are "better than a sharp stick in the eye" but with all the "best and brightest financial consultants available" in Herndon, VA let's compare Delta's results with our "gains". Draw your own conclusions... LCC was and is still paying 757 CA's $144.02 (AW $141.85) UAL was paying 757 CA's . $160.53 before the JCBA. CAL was paying 757 CA's . $169.33 before the JCBA. DAL was paying 757CA's . $188.96 prior to C2012 ($19-$45 ahead of peers) We all want more, but when a majority of your peer group is severely lagging your compensation already it is a tough sell to the NMB to get a release. How far ahead of them did we get with C2012? Do you think another substantial jump like previously will be a reasonable negotiating stance in Spring of 2015? |

Nobody doubted DAL's performance is stellar. How did you plan on getting more of those dollars?

I'd rather have the company fill me up to the 415c limit than get it in my check. Why did we take concessions? |

It just bunches them up. With DAL receiving a bunch at one time and then back on schedule.
