In my opinion it will be dead the day they actually tear down number three. ;)
By the way, those rats beat the crew meals we get on our flights with a 5:29 block. FA - "Hello Captain, do you want the rat, pigeon, or sewer surprise?" CA - "Any Twix bars?" Oh yea ACL, fix the crew meal thing when you run the negotiating committee. BD |

JFK will probably be the same until I retire in 20+ years. Can you imagine saving up for years to bring your family to America on the "Global Premier Airline" from some third world country only to find out that you prefer where you live over JFK's "open arms?"

I love the fact that Delta managed to not only "Bring up DTW to the Delta standard..."
but that that also included bringing some of the JFK birdlife up to Motown. Just kidding, the DTW terminal is nice. I just can't get over how its full of live birds like JFK... Cheers George |
[QUOTE=dtfl;676661][QUOTE=dragon;675989]A we’re going to continue growing ATL which is already at 1000 departures per day and we want to keep a footprint in certain markets but will be cancelling unprofitable markets. And 70% of those are the really small ones. “We need to protect Atlanta”. Could be talking about SWA or Citrus.
I personally think this is ridiculous! Our CR&P folks need to realize there are other hubs besides ATL that they can schedule. Take ONE look at ATL on a day with a Broken deck at 3000 and the PRMs cause 30-45 min delays. Pax get ****ed...miss connections....and their plans are shot. All because everything comes through ATL. If we had our system ops a little more spread out like in the past, or like some other carriers, we could absorb more delays. I'd like to see MEM grow..become the hub for domestic connections...kind of like the Dom Hub..and ATL be the mostly Intl Hub. But what do I know..I just fly the things and hear the pax complain. |

Indeed there'll be tough choices to make, i.e. crew meal with a side of pigeon doodles or better scope protection... That's why we need the right group of people to lead us to the future. We don't need someone who decides what's right, what's not for us.

I don't care what we have to give up, I just want more no furlough clauses! |
Well, I guess it's time to remember the events from 8 years ago, today. May nothing like it ever happen again.
