Yeah, something has to give. They are going to have to extend long call to make any sense at all. Trips like this are going to have to go to short calls.

Whatever happens, we need to make sure that DALPA doesn't allow more short call periods. The company already gets too many IMO. "I'm only sitting a couple short calls a month right now so it doesn't matter" you say? Wait until we are experiencing a ton of movement and all the categories look like the -88 does now. Long call will be but a dream...

Looks like the ball is in our court to get some reserve improvements, because this new "policy" doesn't jive with the contract.

Before everyone gets their panties in a wad over sc/lc under 117, I think the solution is in trip coverage sequence. Just move GSs, both in and out of base above SC coverage...voila, problem solved.

WAR EAGLE!
2 weeks off with a great running game vs a PASSING team with a QB with rape charges that have been cleared. I would put my money on the SEC team.
Sorry New, Bears lose to Boys on Monday night. Bears D not the same and Romo will not play as bad as he did last year.

For reasons that were never made clear, we would occasionally get a classic hotel, so upscale that we wondered if there had been some mistake: Parker House (BOS), Palmer House ORD), St. Francis (SFO), Benson (PDX), Biltmore (MIA), etc.
Any crews still have layovers at such places?

Urban Legend? Someone said 5 years ago that the TLV hotel was fantastic but we were kicked out because a FA went to dye her hair in the sink and stained the marble, true?

Heck naw. You SEC boys ever heard of something called defense or is every game 55-45 over there? ;)

BRING IT ON, FTB. The game is the day after my son's first birthday. All he's wishing for is the war chickens to get run over.

I would have at least thought ACL would have said we are aware and are addressing the issue.

The impression one is left with is they are cowed. I hope this is not the case, and we see some backbone.

Remember how our union accepted the mandate from the company stating Delta pilots would make PAs from the gate house to inform passengers as to the status of the flight? e.g. You're in the crew lounge and you're aware the plane is going to be an hour late, but you're supposed to go give PAs after coordinating with the GA? Not to get into that discussion again about how you'd do it anyway; the point is it was put out by the company without coordinating with our union and we took it.

Well, what kind of signal did the company get from our accepting that mandate to perform work outside the PWA?

Yes, congrats....Jughead, you too!

They don't even have to play the game--I just love the fact OSU is out of it.
