Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

Although I wish we did not have vacation sell back, if you are going to go after a pilot for exercising contractual rights to make extra cash, you better be pure of heart. The same case could be made for any pilot that flies over 75 hours, picks up a green slip, flies over what the pick up would be in a non vacation month etc... Any of those help the company in the same way.

And add out of base WSs to that. I see the co get bailed out regularly.

As of 8:58 they have not run Jan. They either started late or are bogged down by FAR 117 conflicts.

They often are a little tardy, but this is weak. I need to know all my requests got shot down so I can get on with my day.

Yeah, I just went to iCrew to look at the published run times, it is indeed 0700 on the 20th for the first next mo. PCS run, and as of a few minutes ago, they still hadn't been done in my category.

Today is Friday, not a Sunday right? :rolleyes:

I guess we can't blame it on the "weekend help"! :D

From this point forward, we need to repeat one simple fact every day.

The concessions extorted during chapter 11 are no longer necessary. It is long past time to snap up, eliminate all concessions and restore our scope, pay, work rules and quality of life.

If we cannot accomplish this now, in this environment, then we never will.

That ship sailed the day that we voted yes to C2012 IMO. The bar has been reset, unfortunately.

Wasn't there an issue with the first PCS run last month too?

Edit:

Just talked to scheduling and they said they are running one category at a time due to the FAR 117. No estimate when all will be done.

Got a call in to DALPA and waiting to hear back, but I'm thinking mine still doesn't work. Jan 1 duty in 1352, done the 4th 1535. Duty in the 5th 0710, out on the 7th 1359. Longest layover is 19 hours.
