What we want to see is backfills everywhere except NYC and DTW, then we will know it is because nobody is bidding the positions. :)

They don't need to backfill the NB's out west since the few slots they had open were filled by furlough bypass guys

I don't remember much (if anything) in the way of west coast slots being offered to FUR guys.

They were not offered anything that wasn't previously offered to us.

They were offered LAX, SLC, and MSP slots. I know pilots displaced from SLC and MSP trying to get back and I know pilots that have been trying to get to LA for years. Your statement is inaccurate. It is a huge sore spot for some of our pilots.

I'm sure you noticed that MSP went way down the list this bid and pilots were reinstated there.

I'll look more into LAX and SLC slots as I didn't remember those being offered to the furbees.

Edit: There were 5 SLC 320 and 5 LAX 73N offered to the FUR B's.

Recalled furlough bypass pilots were offered the following categories in seniority order:

73N B - DTW(25), LAX(5) and NYC(20)
320 B - DTW(7), NYC(8) and SLC(5)
M88 B - ATL(18), CVG(1), MSP(9) and NYC(2)
717 B - ATL(39) and DTW(37)

forgot to bid 12-13-2013 08:49 PM

That is going to suck in the summertime…..

Sounds like the 900 will be fighting for airspace with the M90. It loves 260-290 when flying 1100nm legs!

The west coast has always been senior. I remember the bottom S/O on the 727 in SEA being able to hold L15B in ATL, CVG and NYC.

Newhires were getting SLC and LAX in class in 07-08......but something was weird then because newhires were getting the ER then as well.
