I've used the Airtrain/shuttle from Federal Circle to get to the Marriott Courtyard van (just a few blocks away from our old one) when stuck in New York a few times. I'm not sure it's always quicker, but it definitely is more predictable.
The shuttle to the airport from our old hotel was an always late cattle car. I won't miss that hotel or the transportation.

Because the vans can depart from the hotel on a schedule. The airport not so much due to traffic and PANY/TSA shuttle parking rules.

Any insight into how the FAR 117 Reserve issue is going to be resolved? Do you see this as the end of short notice inverse assignments?

I looked at travelnet and saw next summer a 777 nonstop from DTW and a 7ER nonstop from SEA. Looks like a NRT overfly.

RESCIND the Preliminary Awards
I can't believe no one brought this up today. I received a text message at 0842 CST saying the bids have been posted and then 5 hours later I get another text message saying "The preliminary awards for your category have been rescinded as of 1415E."
Was that for everyone or just the ER?
