Why are there Marines on US Navy ships........................... so the Navy has someone to dance with.

There's a couple guys in SLC that taxi SE and shut the APU down as soon as you get #2 started, then ask you to do a cross-bleed start. Of course they are ALSO the ones that say, "No, let's wait until there are only 3 ahead of us to start... and wait until that 3rd one is actually rolling." Leaving you rushed and behind.
Both of them are, of course, LCA. There's no-one as non-standard and risk-accepting as an LCA, in my experience.

Any video of it being pushed back for building wing removal?

I remember crossbleed was a bit of a pain on the 737. It was exceedingly rare to fly with someone that did that.

I think these excursions are just proving we should have gotten the 321 and none of the extendo-flufs. Crossbleed on those is even easier than it is on the 757.

I can't possibly see how everything gets covered.
No reserves at DL? I'll gladly quit being a RJ pilot to be a DL reserve

Just out of curiosity, did you, at any time, tell them "Hey I'm feeling rushed and behind, do you mind if we crank it up now?"

I don't mean to be a tool about it, but the reason these guys do this is because there's no push back.

I always do that. "How about we crank up the left side now, you gotta hill (wink, wink) coming up."

My question is why is the taxiway slide off even news? Didn't Jennifer Lawrence get a new haircut?

Still two pages of uncovered trips for tomorrow with no reserves and no takers apparently. I don't see any way they get through tomorrow without lots of cancellations for no crew.

I've gotten a pile of IA calls today. Too bad I'm in DTW and didn't bring my uniform or ID. Not interested!
