Yeah, I'm just sayin' 62.7% agree with you. Oh wait....

Nobody is saying it's enough and we should go away quietly! We made solid gains and broke a huge logjam in the industry, and did it with a short term deal that let's us open up right after momma DAL has back-to-back $3.4B+ PTIX years and the rest of the industry isn't lagging us by hundreds and hundreds of millions already! It's right in the wheelhouse to make very big improvements easily justifiable to the NMB (you know, that Govt entity that controls if we are released to strike?!?!)

you mean "agreed." past tense.

I wonder how many "agree" now that increased medical premiums/out of pocket expenses have eaten up whatever was left of that 3% raise after COLA increases.

4-8-3-3 was an embarrassment, plain and simple.

Classic. You have zero proof that a "professional negotiator" would bring us a better product. All you have is hopey changey (what a grrrrreat philosophy THAT is). The premise that our negotiators had a "weekend crash course" is a flawed one and really is pathetic, but it goes to the mindset that you believe Heiko and the others went in there totally alone, uninformed and completely clueless. I would rather have our guys in there (with all the resources that the national union brings with them) than some hired gun that has no skin in the game, and is just there until the money runs out.

I'm guessing that if we did have "professionals" in there, and they brought us a crappy product that you and PD would be the first in line to crucify dALPA for wasting our dues money. The hypocrisy is palpable in this discussion.

Not to me. A 25% stock market gain and good investments made me a boatload of money. Life is pretty good and getting better every day.

We don't need professionals involved in the negotiations.

What we need is professionals to proof what we are negotiating and offer changes and fixes to language prior to putting it all together in a TA.

To often, we get a TA that has glaring deficiencies in language that always seems to not benefit pilots.

We should make it up in the stock market? That's your answer for a crap contract?

Is the movie ok for a 4 year old girl? or will she just prevent me from enjoying the movie?

My 7 year old has been dying to see it

Place was packed with kids. 4 year old will love it! 7 year old will beg for Legos on the way home. Plan a trip to the toy store too.

I felt like a chump then, I felt like a chump Jan 1, 2014, and I will feel like a used prom date on Jan 1, 2015 when my date stops returning my calls.

We have been used, in the name of proactive engagement, and our phone calls are already being ignored. They are making billions and we have served our purpose through sacrifice...now we are going to have to fight, tooth and nail, for every future gains we achieve.

I went to a roadshow and my memory is different from yours. I think a lot of people were thrown off by the fact that we needed to hire for the 717 but that with the delivery schedule as published it was going to take awhile before bodies were needed. SD with his statement that we could start the hiring process as early as 4th qtr 2012 also raised false hopes. I've been around long enough to know that a statement like that means nothing. Starting the hiring process could have started 1st qtr 2013 when they hired Cal to be the head of pilot hiring, that's the first step in the hiring process right ?
I have no problem with the no voters on 2012, they looked at the TA and deemed it wasn't worthy. I have a little problem with yes voters who say they were duped, either they are simpletons or they didn't do there homework, both of which are scary traits in a pilot. Buyers remorse is ok, it's easy to look back and say we should have done better.

Going to say there seems to be a significant faction with buyers remorse.
