Love ya Buzz... mean it.

Haha!:D

I choose to believe it was carrying around the world's most powerful nuclear capability in my hands and jetting around on AF-1 that brought her around.

Either way, it worked. ;)

Here's a pretty cool website for your perusal. Check out the "Observations" tab and see when it will be in view in your area.

Click

Then, under the FAQ tab, there is a hyperlink under item 3 to an onboard live web camera.

Very cool! It just happened to be in NE Georgia when I clicked on the link. I watched it do an ATL-LGA leg in about 3 minutes. Pretty sweet

Anyone go to the base visit in Seattle? Is the pilot base ever going to grow with all the new routes coming? When is the 737 base going to open? or are we trading in Alaska and getting SkyWest?

Wouldn't that finally give us some movement in SLC?

I went and they talked for 2 hours with a Q&A and pretty much said nothing that is not already known. They won't say where the new 330 time is going except possibly opening a 330 base in NYC and that probably won't happen until 2016. Won't say if there is going to be a narrowbody base in SEA etc.

Well at least you ate for free! Did you let them know I do not approve using other bases to fund growth? Or, were you in a hurry to get a beer at Steve's?:D

Maybe we will finally be getting them.
FAA clears Surface for takeoff in US cockpits
Surface Gets FAA Authorization, Jeppesen FliteDeck Pro App and RAM Mounts For Commercial Airline Electronic Flight Bags

Hey ATL guys, the weather folks are using words like "catastrophic" to describe this ice storm. Don't be stupid. Stay safe.

Denny Crane 02-11-2014 03:06 PM

At the Seattle meeting they said line pilot should start getting the Surface in May 2014, FAA validation should be on May 13th. EFB should replace Airside about Dec. 1st.
