Airline Pilot Central Forums - Any "Latest & Greatest" about Delta?

Dal Mx buddy told me today half of the 717 tails are coming out west to fly. I saw someone said LAX-AUS and he said shuttles as well LAX-SEA. How could they not have an LAX base? Hmmm.

Testing the waters is one explanation. I suspect they'll open a west coast base the second it's the cheaper thing to do. For example A320 NYC didn't take long to open.

I'm actually surprised there isn't a LAX A320 base given the 321 pending arrival and the 320 flying out of LAX.

As to AUS-LAX, looks like it'll be turns out of AUS done by DTW 717 crews. But I'm not sure.

With 13 or so flights between LAX-SFO every day, it'd be nice to snag that from the E175 and put that on the 717... or just snag the E175s.

Not necessarily an AME. Just a family doc for bloodwork, general once-over, etc...

I can't say enough good things about Dr. William Adcox. He is just east of PTC on hwy 54. Family Medicine Specialists is the clinic name. He saved my life. What else can I say?
