Get him talking about his hobby and the trip will go smoother. |

The only way to tolerate him is to get him talking about competitive gliding. He's some gliding instructor and it takes his mind off of being a double breasted d bag. And, yes he has been told many times that nobody likes to fly with him. However, his narcissistic, sociopathic ways will not allow him to be cool. I know it's my problem, but he is one of the people that can ruin an otherwise descent 4 day. He is just so insecure. When the FO turns one way to avoid a TStorm, he wants to turn the other way. Then, when things get sporty, he panics. On top of this, he is not all that great of a stick and rudder guy. Ham fisted. He interprets the rules VERY narrowly. Then, to communicate his displeasure at your obvious misdeed, his only method is by raising his voice or slapping your hand away from the offending control. Yes, the powers that be know. But, the power of d baggery has overcome the power of the CPO. I feel better now. R1 |

I think Delta might be trying for dual certification. The company will only provide the Surface; if you want an iPad it's out of your pocket. I'm sure the company will be thrilled if folks foot the bill for their own tablets.
Is that how y'all interpret it? |

I tend to agree, because we think in terms of cell movement. You have the big picture... you use your radar to see where the sucker actually is when you get there. But if you think in terms of cells developing, maybe you have two areas to choose from, but one's building up drastically, one not so much, the old picture might lead you towards the wrong choice. A 30-minute delay is a fairly long time.
I try to get a peek at the Intellicast Radar loops to see what's happening, both domestic and the Global satellite loops. Helps me plan ahead...and get my courage up! ;-) |

Does anybody here live in Lake Redwine? I'm moving to Atlanta with the family and wanted to get some info about the area. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Late to the discussion, but...

New York Captains are very good at looking into a storm, and determining the best path. |

I usually do the same, and the picture that's left looping on the iPhone is worth a thousand words.
