Such brilliant work and your royalties are down the drain.

Default ALPA Mobile APP

Just loaded the ALPA mobile APP because it says they have Jump-Seat information and KCM sites. Looking at it all I see are links to articles and press releases - am I missing something?

I think so. And I also think any special state deal one base gets over another should be contractually "me too'd" to everyone. Its the same sick time we all get and we should all get to use it the exact same way with no special political carve outs.

I agree and I just sent an email to my reps. As for a special carve out those pilots based in MSP and LAX have had this deal for a while now. I made that point to ALPA and they said the company only has to honor those pilots in those states. So much for all being the same.

I have heard rumblings that the company has not always dealt in good faith on "state sick" claims, and that they are considering lowering the headcount in states where such a law is on the books. Has anyone else heard that?

The NYC deal sounds like you need to accrue special sick time. I do know you do currently get a cpl hundred dollars in NYC for short term disability, might work the ad way.

Purple,

I used the CA Law to take sick leave for a family member - no issues and very easy.

This was in April 2012 and I have not heard anything negative from any other LAX guys.

Don't know anything about lowering headcount, but I think Pilot productivity and Pilot sick leave will usage will be two of the companies "talking -points" for the next round of contract talks.

Been there, done that...its pathetic the small number of individuals that have signed the NAI petition.

So CA, WA, NY, MN have it, so I guess the company is going to put everyone in ATL and CVG!
