Hydraulic reversers. They got it to a slow roll. engine idle produces small amount of trust maybe just maybe they were trying to stop so they shut them down. There was no hydraulics anyways shutting them down would do nothing to the brakes.

The April flt standards newsletter is out. There is some interesting information on fleet plans, where aircraft will be used ect. Much of it straight from RA. Check Delta net, it's well worth reading.

News/rumors from the Kremlin (some old some new): All the early model 320s will be getting heavy checks and sticking around for a good while.
321s will be coming with brake fans (woo hoo!), and an RFP for more (15ish) 321s or 739s is coming. 757s that were slated to be parked in another year to instead take over the NBA charters from the 319s as they are reconfigured. All good news! |
