Thanks.

X day moves require 3 or more days in advance...:(

I think the more appropriate question is why not DXB-DTW. DTW has a large Arabic population.

They come through A-dam where passport control is not so fussy.

Not to mention dxb is the silk route renamed with africa as an extra feed. There is very very minimal o/d feed there...nearly everyone on EK is connecting from major population centers over there. That's how they fill the 380s... and they have quite high load factors. The megabus is extremely capable with altitude and mach performance.

Like I said I am cautiously optimistic.

I hope nothing ruins this special moment, it'd be nice to have organic growth.

Just to pile on the happy-fest, this is the airline industry, after all, I heard a good one today about our regional partners at Chitty Taco... from a friend who talked with one of their CP's. They had a hiring pool last week with 20 scheduled to come interview. Four showed up. One tried to tell the HR lady what questions to ask, and the other three crashed the sim. I guess the talent downstream has really dried up...

so the regionals can't find pilots at their current wage/cost structure, RA is mad at Alaska, we are organically growing... not a bad day.

You had one of those flights too? How coincidental. How was it?

As for mine, it was hard to tell whether there really were APC'ers on board, and since this is an anonymous forum after all, how would I know?

It was just a suspicion, call it a hunch.
We weren't full, no volunteers, but I heard Deadhead's name a bunch.

Girls fussed over the security of their under-cleavage.
RJ drivers ogled, but just underage.
It was not just sexual tension: Sierra Nevada hung in the air.
That, and perspiration.

Some of us forgot to bathe.

Someone tried to order a salad.
Someone had too much, asked for the bar.
One girl called another a timbo.

Elsewhere a wicked argument began:
"It's they're, not there, you moron"
"Your stupid, than", and it was on!
And so the shiznit hit the fan.
Another fight, in slow-motion.

I almost got into the brawl.

Overhead an eagle flew.
southwest.
I hate Southwest.
In the darkness, a kitten hissed.

...

Eerie. Just weird.

Ernest Hemingway wishes he was you.

Tip of the hat!

That is correct. And that violated X-day will be moved so as to begin nine hours after your release from the GS trip.

My real question is I have a P/B day on the books from a previous IA, Can I put that Payback day on my schedule on Day 3 of the trip? That would pay the best for me as it a 35 hour layover and then back flying into base day 3.

It would, but I do not believe that will be allowed now that you've been awarded the GS trip.
