OBTW - Some rumors on here don't seem very far fetched , this rumor seems like a real stretch. Scoop If the rumor's true...those rates better be adjusted for inflation. |

Thanks... Quick question
FNG and it looks like I have a line out of training. What does the lavender color trips mean? If you go to the Reasons Report on the May Award page it will show you how/when trips are placed on your schedule as the bid runs. Coverage Awards are at the top of your bid run, and are basically put there because the computer knows that somebody has to fly those trips, and you're junior enough to be on the hook for it. It usually happens on holidays and weekends. |

XNA is northwest arkensas regional airport. Its out in the middle of nowhere by some farms, but is the closest airport to where walmart is headquartered. I wonder where they will put you up? I did that layover when I worked for a regional. There was nothing where we stayed.

Man, I wish I hadn't looked. Probably the worst sked I've had in a loooong time. Time to start calibrating my PCS requests for the 20th...
Edit: Apparently I FAILED bidding again. I got what I asked for, but didn't ask for what I wanted. What a dumba$$

I do remember this overnight at Coex and somehow they put us in the middle of nowhere. However, for us the overnight is pretty good. Good hotel in a commercial cluster area. So whatever you want and wherever you want to eat, it's within a 1/2 mile. There's a Starbucks nearby too. Definitely not a dump if you want a good hotel, tons of food options and every box store you can think of plus possibly an excursion to the lake on a 30 hour. Dayton is a dump by which all dumps are measured. This isn't even close to Dayton dumpiness, it just sounds like it would be. But it's not. But I did notice it said for XNA next month will advise, not sure but I hope we don't move. After all, when UsAir Express stays here, can't be that expensive. |

And in all irony, no Wal-Mart anywhere nearby.... The airport is definitely out in the middle of nowhere. |
