I feel like throwing my unsupported Microsoft laptop out the window. Normally I'd have time to get bids in and work out bugs/issues since clearly no one else is capable of doing THIER jobs....but, thanks to 117 I'm in the middle of a 10 day stretch in a layover hotel with spotty wifi. FML.

Been trying to download the updated Navtech Desktop Application now for a few hours. After my 3rd attempt at the update I deleted the whole thing and am now attempting a completely new install.

Never could get the damn thing to work. I finally gave up and put in a manual bid one painful key stroke at a time. I hope I didn't transpose any numbers. I've got no idea what I'm going to get.

Yeah, it's been politely asking me to "Please Wait" for awhile now. I'm not holding my breath. I REALLY hope I don't have to resort to the web interface - it's so painfully slow that it's really only practical for a small RSV bid with prefer off dates

I'll pay you to teach me to sail but I'd prefer if you kept your shirt on.

FINALLY...got it to work. I followed the step by step instructions from Google Chrome (which i installed, kicking and screaming...I have now submitted to assimilation). Chromes instructions were:

Go to the Chrome menu>Settings>Show Advanced Settings>Change Proxy settings>LAN Settings and deselect "Use a proxy server for your LAN"

We've been hearing that, but I wonder from where?

We have over half of all ever made. Other than a merger with HA, what sources would we likely get them from?

I guess there are a bunch of tiny fleets here and there and it has to be challenging to operate a tiny orphaned fleet of only a few planes especially of that size so I guess its possible.

I just updated my bid via PBS and didn't have any problems (Chrome).

I downloaded the desktop assistant yesterday (took about 30 mins to download) and the other file to configure it. It opened up and I played with it a little bit but didn't use it to submit my bid, but I think I could of had I attempted to.

Can't believe you boys haven't posted something from "One flew over the Cuckoo's nest". I am very disappointed...very disappointed indeed. Cheers H

So far it's working for me. It had some sort of update it did before this bid package came out. It is slow but I also maxed out at 200 lines. It's what happens when you have vacation, training and a seniority number that requires a bit of "well okay if not what I want then..."

That wasn't an option before when I went. And evidently... I went with ALPA guys. Look at all the mustaches.
