If I wanted to fly a 737 for my career, I would have gone to SW... I'm glad the bottom half is going to see improvement, though.

Ugh. Agree. So disappointed to see us hang our hat on that airframe for our future narrowbody lift. Not all our fault, Boeing sells to accountants...

At what rate? Who knows? But, they are being retired. The 747's and 777's aren't being backfilled. Again, we don't know why.

I understand that you can't judge this backward movement by one AE. But, I have been steadily moving back by one or two numbers every AE for the last 3 or 4 years. 767 downward movement into my category is happening. I'm an 88 hire. If senior people don't move up, no one is really moving up.

I know that there have been lots of new captain positions created with the 717's coming on the property. It makes it look like the age 65 logjam is finally breaking loose. But, it is not. Not in the big picture.

Could not agree more. Again, if you want to fly the 737/320/m88/717, then Delta is the place to be... If you want to fly the big iron, then not so much.

Your 717 reference is a fail because you know exactly what I am talking about, and that doesn't even come close to it.

Really?

I have to show you how an individual Delta pilot negotiated with Boeing or Airbus ...???

Collectively, we had some BS fleeting opportunity... I didn't buy into it, but 60% did, including (superior reasoning skills) you.

Remove the 717 from C12...Now explain to me what we got that wasn't tied to a concession.

It is behind us. I'm not dwelling. I'll pass on the steak. Now if you would negotiate with the company to re-instate ATL-BOM, I'll take you up on some butter chicken at Leopolds.
